Ring Sizing

We offer two ways for you to determine your ring size. Remember to measure your fingers at the end of the day when they’re at their largest. Note that cold weather can shrink your fingers up to half a size, so make sure they’re warm. Finally, alcohol and salt can make your fingers swell, so we suggest that you refrain from measuring them after cocktails and appetizers.

1. Measure an Existing Ring

  • Using a ring you already own that fits well, measure the inside diameter of the ring with a ruler in millimeters.
  • Note down the measurement and match it to the chart below.
  • If your size falls in-between two sizes we suggest buying the larger size.
  • Keep in mind that wider rings fit more snugly than narrow rings. It is important that the ring you measure is similar in width to the ring you plan to purchase to ensure an accurate fit.

2. Measure Your Finger

  • Wrap a thin strip of paper around your finger where you’d like your ring to be.
  • To find your best fit, make sure that the paper is pulled snugly around your finger.
  • Mark the spot where the two ends of the paper meet and measure the distance with a ruler in millimeters.
  • Use the chart below to determine your ring size.
  • If your knuckles are larger than the base of your finger, repeat the steps above to measure your knuckle size as well. If your knuckle measurement is greater than your initial finger measurement, use the knuckle size as your correct ring size.

Our award winning Byzantium 24K Ring is inspired by the pure gold jewelry worn by the wealthy denizens of the ancient Byzantine Empire, and boasts five turquoise cabochons totaling 2.8 carats. Much like our Byzantium 24K Ring Rubies and the Byzantium 24K Ring Satin, this ring possesses a certain presence and power that is probably unlike any other ring in your jewelry box. Because of the precious and delicate nature of pure 24 karat gold, we do not recommend wearing this ring on a daily basis unless you are comfortable with the personal patina that comes with daily wear. In terms of styling, this statement ring needs no other jewelry accessory to elevate its status; however, maximalist jewelry lovers enjoy wearing this ring with a pair of The Hoop Earrings L handcrafted from solid 22 karat gold. Our Byzantium 24K Ring is also available in a polished finish with 5 ruby cabochons, and in a brushed satin finish with 5 solid gold cabochons
A note about turquoise. We use natural turquoise cabochons for this ring. Natural turquoise may change color over time due to oxidation and requires special care.
