Arignote

Arignote, one of the first women mathematicians, taught twenty-five centuries ago that numbers are the order beneath everything: the heavens, the earth, and all the space between. Her philosophy of numbers runs straight through the collection, surfacing as line, angle, and repetition. You will find it in rings, earrings, necklaces, and cuffs of fine 18 karat gold, ultra-fine 22 karat gold, and sterling silver, many set with diamonds, rubies, or sapphires. In gold, the lines turn warm and sensual; in silver, cool and fresh.
