Consisting of 92% pure gold, 22 karat gold carries much of the deep color and character of 24 karat gold while being strong enough for daily wear. That strength allows it to hold diamonds and colored stones, set into the gold rather than perched on prongs. Most gold jewelry is 14 karat or even 10, closer to half gold than whole; at 22, ours is almost all of it. The low alloy content makes it gentle on skin that reacts to other metals. It holds its worth, too, so there is no choosing between wearing your gold and keeping its value. With 22 karat, you have both.
